Welcome Vernon Hills High School Project Turf supporters!

The goal of Project Turf is to install synthetic turf on Vernon Hills High School’s Rust-Oleum field. This will increase usability of the field for a wider range of VHHS athletic teams, physical education classes, student activities, and partner community organizations. Almost all Football, Boys’ Soccer, Girls’ Soccer, Boys’ Lacrosse and Girls’ Lacrosse practices and contests will be scheduled on the Turf, allowing for maximum use of Rust-Oleum Field. Physical Education classes will be able to use the Turf field and because the VHHS stadium does not have lighting restrictions, practices and competitions will be able to take place on the Turf day and night.
